SubChannel Failure Analysis Report

Introduction

The Failure Analysis Report (FAR) for the SubChannel module describes the system functional and non-functional requirements that describe the expected interactions that the software shall provide.

Dependencies

The SubChannel module is developed using MOOSE and can itself be based on various MOOSE modules, as such the FAR for the SubChannel module is dependent upon the following documents.

Failure Analysis Requirements

The following is a complete list for all the requirements related to failure analysis for the SubChannel module.

  • subchannel: Scmtripower
  • 16.2.5The system will warn when the total power postprocessor of the triangular lattice power auxiliary kernel does not execute on all of its execution flags.

    Specification(s): SCMTriPower_power_execute_on_warning

    Design: SCMTriPowerAuxSCMTriPowerIC

    Issue(s): #34082

    Collection(s): FAILURE_ANALYSISFUNCTIONAL

    Type(s): RunException

  • 16.2.6The system will warn when the total power postprocessor of the triangular lattice power auxiliary kernel is forced to execute after auxiliary kernels.

    Specification(s): SCMTriPower_power_force_postaux_warning

    Design: SCMTriPowerAuxSCMTriPowerIC

    Issue(s): #34082

    Collection(s): FAILURE_ANALYSISFUNCTIONAL

    Type(s): RunException

  • 16.2.9The system will report an error when the total power postprocessor of the triangular lattice power initial condition does not execute on initial, since it would not have been computed when the initial condition is set.

    Specification(s): SCMTriPower_ic_power_not_initial_error

    Design: SCMTriPowerAuxSCMTriPowerIC

    Issue(s): #34082

    Collection(s): FAILURE_ANALYSISFUNCTIONAL

    Type(s): RunException

  • subchannel: Transfers
  • 16.13.2The system shall report an error when a variable is transferred with the wrong subchannel transfer type

    Specification(s): wrong_transfer_type

    Design: SCMSolutionTransfer

    Issue(s): #29251

    Collection(s): FAILURE_ANALYSISFUNCTIONAL

    Type(s): RunException
